Anatomy of Erosion explores the human form through the language of weathering, time, and transformation. Built from layered stoneware slabs, the sculpture suggests a body that is slowly shaped by erosion, where surfaces fold, peel, and shift like geological strata.

Rather than presenting anatomy as fixed or complete, the work reveals it as something constantly changing. The wrapped layers obscure and expose the form at the same time, creating a dialogue between concealment and revelation. Each fold preserves the movement of soft clay before it was permanently transformed through the firing process.

The subtle white and grey glaze settles into the textures, emphasizing depth and the passage of time. Fired at high temperature, the once pliable clay becomes a lasting record of change, capturing the quiet tension between permanence and impermanence. Anatomy of Erosion reflects the way both landscapes and human beings are shaped—not through sudden events, but through countless moments of gradual transformation.
