These stoneware mugs are adorned with delicate blue blossoms and soft green leaves using underglaze. The borders are inlayed with black slip using Mishima method of making. Being a garden lover my surface designs are mostly inspired by the seasonal blooms of our studio garden, this time it has been petunias.
