This stoneware sculpture depicts the Mountain Scops Owl who lives on the tree in front of our studio. Perched on a textured tree stump, the owl’s wide, dark eyes and softly detailed feathers capture its watchful, quiet presence. This is sculpted by hand without the use of any moulds which makes it one and only piece with no replicas. Named The Wise Owl, he has a curious gaze and a cute round belly and textured glossy feathers. Its coated with clear glaze which makes it waterproof and suitable to be placed outdoors as well as indoors.
