Terrene Drift II continues the exploration of the human form through an abstract sculptural language inspired by geology and landscape. Its elongated silhouette and inclined head suggest a quiet presence, where subtle shifts in proportion evoke posture, balance, and contemplation rather than literal anatomy.

Hand-built in stoneware, the sculpture is finished with layered glazes that settle and flow during firing, creating surfaces reminiscent of weathered rock, mineral deposits, and earth shaped by time. The kiln becomes an essential part of the process, allowing gravity, heat, and chance to leave their own traces across the form.

Neither figurative nor entirely abstract, Terrene Drift II occupies the space between body and landscape. It reflects the belief that human forms, like the earth itself, are continuously shaped by pressure, time, and transformation. The sculpture invites quiet observation, revealing new contours, textures, and relationships as it is viewed from different angles.
