The Dystopian Times takes the form of a handbuilt slab mug disguised as a newspaper. The work reflects on grief as an inescapable catastrophe that lingers indefinitely, becoming part of everyday life. By presenting grief as breaking news, the piece explores how profound loss transforms from a singular event into something permanent that survivors carry long after the initial loss.
