A small figure in the shape of a bird, curled forward in a feeding posture. The head tilts down toward what looks like a breast, formed simply and gently, showing a mother feeding her baby.

On top sits a rounded knot detailed like a gajra, small and textured, sitting neatly at the crown. The whole piece is finished with an oxide wash, giving it a soft, aged look and bringing out every fold and line in the clay.

Compact and quiet in feeling, but full of detail. A piece that speaks softly, no big gestures, just the simple bond between mother and baby, held in one small ceramic form.
