A vase in two parts. The top is smooth cream ceramic, hand shaped and simple. The bottom is a thick woven pattern of dark glass beads, like a tightly knotted bamboo basket.

The shape with narrow neck, wide base. But the beaded weave gives it real texture and character.

Right now it holds dried pampas grass, soft and wild, while the heavy woven base keeps it grounded. Works well on its own too, as a small sculptural piece for a shelf or table.
